The Constant Pitch Arm (CPA) uses a single servo to raise and lower the plate at the front of the arm. The CPA is designed so that the front plate always maintains a vertical orientation. Large washers (or other counter weights) can be added to the back of the arm to increase the lifting strength of the CPA.
