This site includes guides, instructions, codes and part files for educators and students to work with theBasicBot®. The educational robotics platform is only available to schools with an active site license.
- theBasicBot® platform, including but not limited to, all parts, guides, instructional materials, activities and competitions, are the intellectual property of Kanda Innovations Inc.
- Educational Licenses are granted per school on an annual basis, the license and login information can not be shared or distributed beyond current students at the school
- Schools will receive a single login for all students, Kanda Innovations does not track or have any record of individual students using the platform
- After the first year and the purchase of theBasicBot® LAUNCH license, an annual renewal fee is required
- theBasicBot® site contents, activities, and guides may only be accessed directly from the thebasicbot.com. No downloading, sharing, reposting or distributing theBasicBot® content is permitted in any form
- Teachers and students are prohibited from producing and sharing any instructional materials for working with, building,and/or wiring theBasicBot® without the expressed and written permission of Kanda Innovations. Inc
- ONLY Teachers are granted access and permission to download and produce 3D part files. These files must be stored in a secure location and can not be accessed, shared or used by students or others not covered under the license agreement
- KandA Innovations Inc is not responsible for any damage or injury resulting from the use or misuse of any parts, resources, activities, materials.
- 3D printed files can only be produced on printers at the school. No sharing, exporting, outsourcing or personal printing of theBasicBot® part files is permitted
- Schools are responsible for ensuring their 3D printers are properly calibrated and producing quality parts
Privacy and Data
At no time is information shared with any other parties. Login activity is recorded and maintained in theBasicBot.com website using a 3rd party secure hosting platform. Educator professional (school) emails are used for the sole purpose of creating login accounts and are confidential. Students are provided with a school-wide login and password – no information is collected from students at any time. We do not allow new unknown user profiles to be generated on the site and do not collect personal information at any time.
